I ordered two of these shades for my living room and they are beautiful! Easy to install, charge and operate. Instructions are perfect t and I’m very happy with this product and company!I was excited to order these because of the good reviews this product had, however was not thrilled with my experience.What I liked:- Fast shipping (I paid the $2 for express and still received earlier than expected)- Shade fabric is nice quality- The shade of white does not clash with our white walls- Easy installationWhat I didn't like:- There were signs of cheapness everywhere: dirt marks on the fabric, gashes on the powder coating of the hardware, part of a plastic piece broken (see photos). For $175 I expected these to be in new and perfect condition. I have been trying to find blinds for a while and did not go through the process of trying to return and replace because these are good enough, I'm just bummed that something that cost that much is not perfect. Maybe if these were $50 I would have expected things like that.- The photo shows that you can roll the blackout shade over the light filtering one to hide it, however it does not sit right if you do this. I was able to solve this by flipping it, so not a problem functionally but I think I would have preferred the look in the stock photo.- I wish the cords were on opposite sides. If you have the cords over each other, the one makes a horrible sounds when you are rolling it because the beads hit the plastic of the fasteners on the other. I tried to place the cord in different areas but they just don't really sit well together.I don't want to complain too much because overall the look is nice from far away when you can't see the little flaws. I just think it's wrong to charge $175 for a product that is not immaculate, makes it look cheaper than it should.•SUMMARY: I ordered these blinds with much hesitation since it’s not a US product/company, but I found the seller to be surprisingly responsive, and the product, well made. I started by ordering just one to minimize money lost if something wasn’t as expected, but I liked it enough to buy a second for another window.•SELLER: I e-mailed the seller before ordering to ask about outside mount specifications, and the seller asked for a picture of the window to provide the most accurate response. The seller’s reply included the picture I sent with markings indicating the options for an outside mount, which impressed me and made me feel more confident in ordering.•ORDERS: After placing each order, I received an e-mail from the seller, asking that I confirm the width that I ordered and advising that I had 24 hours to change the width, if needed.•SHIPPING: The blinds arrived in less than two weeks. At the time I purchased, express shipping was only a couple dollars more, so I paid to get them a little sooner.•ISSUES: The first box came with a small piece of the roller broken off during shipping. I e-mailed the seller, who immediately responded and sent replacement parts in less than a week.INSTALLATION: The blackout and filtered shades come on separate rolls, and there is a double bracket that, once installed, allows them to be stacked and operate in tandem. Installation can be tricky. For someone who’s previously installed blinds or shades, it’s fairly straightforward with just a few tweaks. The double bracket isn’t the most secure option, but functional, as long as blind adjustments are gentle. These are not spring, but chain-controlled rollers, which I knew when ordering—not as nice but less expensive. The “chain” is a plastic beaded strand that is not meant for harsh use.DETAILS: The blind material is good quality and will be easy to clean.Because we chose outside mount, the blackout shade really does completely darken the room, and the filtered shade provides plenty of natural light, allowing us to see slightly blurred shapes, including people. Overall, a great lower-cost alternative to the expensive-brand double spring roller shades and a good option for windows that sometimes need light and other times blackout. Be advised that, if the room lights are on, anyone outside can see clearly into the room through the filtered blind, which is to be expected, just not always realized ?.I love these shades! I repurposed our dining room and created an office space. This bay window faces the street. I wanted something that would give me privacy but still let light in and my old Venetian blinds just weren't going to give me what I wanted. Plus, I wanted a colorful, sleek, and modern (but not fussy) look. These shades were the PERFECT solution. They are extraordinarily well made and easy to install. And the seller/manufacturer is simply fantastic: the two side windows of this bay window are an unusual size. I contacted the seller about a custom order... they were quick to respond, polite/friendly, and gave me detailed measuring instructions to make sure I ordered the absolute correct size shade. I paid a small fee for express shipping and had them in about 10 days from fabrication. Shades in this style are very hard to find at an affordable price. I highly, HIGHLY recommend these for their quality, style, and affordability. You will not regret your purchase. In fact, I'm working on another custom order now as I have another bay window just like this one and these shades are (again) the perfect solution!I was hesitant to order these because of the lack of reviews, but I'm glad I did. With that said, here are the pros and cons:PROS: high quality, its basically as pictured/described. it also came much faster than initially listed!CONS: hard to install, mostly because the directions could use much more detail. we had to hire someone to install these for us, and he still had a hard time due to the lack of instructions. I will also note that the light-filtering shade also feels a little too strong - I wish it was slightly more sheer/let more light through. however, this is for a window that doesn't get much light - if you're thinking of purchasing for a window that gets a lot of light, this will not be an issue for you.overall, I'm happy with my purchase now that it's successfully installed!
