The HKK Aqua Series single strand, double pitch, standard type roller chain is made of carbon steel with a corrosion resistant finish and is suitable for a broad range of outdoor and seawater environments. The chain is manufactured to be corrosion-resistant while maintaining strength and durability. Its bushings and rollers are manufactured of cold-forged solid steel construction, minimizing elongation and wear caused by friction, thereby extending the life of the chain. One connecting link is included for 10’ and 20’ chains and 30’ and longer includes one connecting link per 10’ of chain. This Aqua Series roller chain performed approximately 10 times better than nickel-plated counterparts in salt-water immersion tests, lasting more than 600 hours before corroding, compared with 48 hours for nickel-plated chains.
