I have a 12' portabote that I got tired of putting together so I bought a trailer. Problem is that with a normal keel roller, it causes the boat to deform over time. To fix this, I added a set of bunks near the bow to cradle the bow and support the length of the front half of the boat. All was well and fine till I hit a ramp with minimal slope and couldn't float the boat off the trailer.Swapped the plastic coated bunks for rollers and it works smooth as silk now
